This Is Anyo (T.I.A) is a female-owned brand founded in April 2021 in Yorkshire, England. The brand mission is to become a pioneer for sustainable, slow fashion. We work hard to ensure our pieces are designed and sourced from ethical means, using only the highest quality materials. Our suppliers are certified and all product certifications such as GOTS and Oeko-Tex can be found on the individual product pages on our website.

So, what does slow fashion actually mean?

Slow fashion is defined as the ethical and sustainable movement for creating and buying clothing that is made for longevity. It is the conscious movement of buying less and buying quality. We fully support this concept of buying clothing to wear again and again, and if looked after, our clothing will be your loyal companion for years to come.

This Is Anyo dictionary definition - Anew Afresh Again Swedish Noun

T.I.A's founder had worked in fashion buying and merchandising for a number of years and saw first-hand the need for change within the fashion industry. The key goal as a buyer was to get the lowest cost price possible with no consideration for the environment or workers involved.

The throw-away and fast fashion culture has become the norm and as a consumer it is easy and affordable to buy a new outfit and wear it once. Our founder knew that she was part of the problem, and began her own personal journey to a more sustainable way of living by making small significant changes. With fashion, she stopped buying from fast fashion retailers and instead sought sustainable, transparent brands to buy from as well as buying high-end that would last. Finding there was a very limited choice for sustainable brands that offered high quality, style and affordability; this is where This Is Anyo was born.

Here at T.I.A we are constantly learning and taking the responsibility to source sustainable materials, seek the best manufacturing methods; both traditional and modern, and find suppliers who care for and implement Fair Trade and workers rights.

"THIS IS A JOURNEY FOR US, AND EVERY STEP IS A LEARNING CURVE. IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY AND AIM TO BE AS TRANSPARENT AND SUSTAINABLE AS POSSIBLE AND MAKE GOOD CHOICES" ~ AMY, FOUNDER AND CEO
